Thanksgiving Week!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week!  Our friends were in town part of the time and we were able to squeeze in an afternoon of lunch, shopping, and fun at Jump Street!

Good Morning, Colonial America!

Hannah's 5th grade classes presented Good Morning, Colonial America just before Thanksgiving.  Each of the groups put together a newscast interviewing important people from that time period as well as doing commercials - the kids do a ton of research to "get it right" and then dress the part - what fun!  Hannah's group did Pennsylvania. She was interviewed as William Penn (no picture dressed as a dude, sorry!) and also showed a mother making bread with her daughter.  It was a great, information-packed day morning!
