Yep - the boys returned from their scout camping trip cold and wet! What better comfort food than grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup!!! They had a lot of fun even though it was drizzling the entire time with temps in the 40's and 50's. Joshua's favorite part? A 4-mile hike today and warming up by the fire afterwards!!!

Hannah's 1st Rockies' Game

One of my agents gave us tickets to the Colorado Rockies vs. Cincinnati Reds game! The Wenger's joined us for lunch and yummy peach cobbler for dessert (thank you, Kimberly!) and then we all headed down to Coors Field. Hannah was thrilled to be going to her 1st Rockies' game, and it was Elly, Madalyn, and Luke's 1st Rockies' game, too. Joshua was in heaven - he could probably watch baseball 24/7! It was a great day ~ and of course, the snow cones in 90-plus degree weather definitely helped!!!

Special Times

Every since Joshua and Hannah were teeny tiny, they've spent a day with Boppa Tom and Grammy Darls. I am thrilled that this tradition continues even as they get older! Mom picks them up from school on Wednesdays and it's time to play!!! They love hanging out in "my" room - reading and creating - playing in the backyard - going to "Ducky Doodle" park - and especially having their ice cream there (which by the way, Dad enjoys just as much!). Another bonus? We get to have dinner together mid-week!!!
