My alma mater - Lakewood High School - made it to the State Championship! Lakewood hasn't gone since we won against Cherry Creek my sophomore year! There was no question - we were all going! They played undefeated Columbine at Sports Authority Field - the Broncos' stadium :-) It was so much fun!!! We lost - final score - 41-31 - Lakewood ended the season with a 12-2 record but it was awesome to get everyone together and cheer on the home team :-)
...our coaches Squires and Strouse were even there!
Like the fuzzy orange (i.e. tiger) scarf I discovered in my drawer?!?!
