The Rockies have their home opener today! Wish we were going to the game but more than one ticket is hard to come by so I guess we'll just go to work and school (and watch online!)...

Fun at the Farm 2010

Fun! We had our annual White Fence Farm fundraiser last night! Families from Bethlehem are invited to eat and play from 4-8 and the restaurant gives 15% back to the school. There's a great playground with a treehouse and tire swing, and a barn with goats, sheep, and a giant pig that the kids can feed and pet. My cousins were here from Minnesota, and they joined us along with Boppa Tom, Grammy Darls, and Grandpa Joe! Hello ~ where was my camera?!?! oops. Oh well ~ a picture from last year :-)

Spring Break Mystery Trip

...off and running, but where to???

Joshua, Momsie, and Hannah all settled in for the car ride and ready to test their knowledge at Brain Quest...

FIRST STOP ~ UNITED STATES AIR FORCE ACADEMY

...the B-52D Stratofortress affectionately named "Diamond Lil" - she was flown from 1957 to 1983...

...time for a picture and then it was off to the Visitor's Center...

...a few deer on the way...

...WAY COOL...

...inside the cadet chapel ~ awesome!!!

...out front - the chapel is huge and amazing...

...checked in to the Marriott Residence Inn and it's time for a swim...

...out for Mexican food and drinks...

...more pool time in the morning (sharing one pair of goggles!)...

...and then off to the Garden of the Gods...

...and a few more deer to send us on our way back home...  It was a fabulous 24 hours!!!

Snowball Fight!

...the calendar says it's the first day of spring, but we all know that means nothing in Colorado! Yesterday we got 8" of snow and today it's perfect for fort-making and snowball fights! Lane and Kate are with us and we did a round of Glow-In-The-Dark Mini Golf last night, then grabbed a bite at Chili's, and then went to see Diary of a Wimpy Kid. The kids are having a blast with their cousins! Greg and I snuck up on them while they were building their forts out back and the fight was on!!!  Parents 1, Kiddos 0. Everyone did better, though, when we all conspired together to launch an attack on Greg!

I told them they needed to smile for the 1st one, and then they could launch snowballs at me for the 2nd one - I don't think Lane believed I was serious! Notice that Joshua and Hannah were more than willing to oblige!!!
