Tonight was the Spring Recital for Mrs. Duensing's students. We love hearing all of the students from the "just started" to the "been playing for years" ~ amazing talent all the way through :-) Hannah played "The Mermaid" and "Temple Breezes".
Each of these five students memorized and played 10 songs for the National Piano Guild Auditions last week - a lot of work! Way to go Erich, Julia, Chloe, Jordan, and Hannah!
Surprise! Hannah received 1st place out of all of Nancy's students - they receive points for practice time, assignment completion, memorization, playing for others, attending various musical performances, and of course, the guild auditions. We were wonderfully stunned and pleasantly surprised :-)
