Mom happened upon this book for me before we knew it was a major motion picture. It was a good read ~ a little bizarre in places and somewhat sad, too ~ but probably fitting for the times. It's the story of 93-year-old Jacob Jankowski remembering his time in the circus as a young man during the Great Depression. It will be interesting to see the differences between the book and the movie!
